The "American girls" as the French called them. From 1917 to 1924, 350 American women volunteers lived in Picardy.
Led by Anne Morgan, these young volunteers shared the lives of people living in rural areas who had been badly affected by the Great War in order to help them get back on their feet again.
The CARD - American Commitee for Devastated France - would help the civilian population until 1924. Humanitarian work that would leave a major legacy in the region.

Follow in the footsteps of Anne Morgan on a seven-stage circuit by car.

Audio guides 2 to 3 minutes long, archive photos, period films and a map to guide you.
